Lessons & Training

Fieldstone Riding Club has been in operation for over 25 years. We have been instrumental in the education of many of today’s top professionals as well as current National/State and County competitors. We are working on our next generation of riders and have the privilege of starting many of the children of today’s riding superstars. We are an integral part of the Grass Roots section of our industry. We take our responsibility seriously and work very hard to turn out tomorrow’s National Competitors. This is a wonderful sport that teaches responsibility, commitment, problem-solving skills, patience, respect and a good work ethic. Whether you are a serious competitor with a horse of your own, or you are looking for your perfect equine partner, we are committed to teaching you all of the skills necessary to be a successful and well-educated rider.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I start off in a group lesson?

We like to have riders new to our program start in private lessons so they can get the most one-on-one attention from our instructors.

Can I board a horse here without being in training?

We currently only board horses that are in one of our training programs. If you don't see an option that is right for you, please contact us for more information.

Do you offer Western riding lessons?

FRC offers lessons in the English disciplines of hunters, equitation and jumpers. Some beginners do feel more comfortable starting in a Western saddle, but we transition to English as soon as they are ready.

Do I need to provide my own equipment when I first start lessons?

We can provide you with a helmet to borrow when you begin your lessons. If you have your own equipment, such as a helmet, saddle or grooming tools, please feel free to bring them. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are needed for riding lessons.
